Waterman 42 18KR gold filled italian continental overlay.

This model was called “pompeiana” because figures on overlay were inspired from frescos discovered on Pompei’s walls, near Napoli, the town destroyed (and preserved) by eruption of Vesuvio wich occurred on 79 AD.

12.5 Cm long, original Waterman 14K gold nib F very flex nib, LM INC (Luigi Meazza Incisore “Engraver”) on barrel’s end, (one of four Pompeiana overlay version known) great conditions no brassing or damages, a surfacely sing on cap’s cartiglio only as in images, restored in working order.
